Chadwick Residents Are:

  • Women and women with children are homeless when they enter our program.
  • They need services and support while they prepare to live independently in the community.
  • They must be at least 16yrs old and have some form of income.

While each woman is unique, many of them are victims of domestic violence, have a history of substance abuse and/or mental health problems and may be involved with Child Protective Services. Some have learning disabilities or may be functionally illiterate while others have a college education.

Each woman is assisted with identifying their goals to develop a Service Plan. They are then assisted with developing independent living skills, given educational/vocational guidance and referred to services in the community based on the goals they have identified in their service plan. They are expected to leave the program as self-sufficient individuals and obtain permanent housing.
