 
In order for Chadwick Residence to continue in our mission of offering
assistance to women in need, we depend on the members of the Friends of
Chadwick to contribute in the day to day operation of the residence. The Friends of Chadwick Residence is comprised of our many volunteers, and the members of the Chadwick Residence Board of Directors.
REASONS TO VOLUNTEER
- Wanting to help others
- As part of a school or group requirement
- To gain experience in a career area and/or list experience on a resume
We have many opportunities available for our friends in the community who are interested in assisting with the mission of Chadwick Residence
Individuals or groups can volunteer for one-time activities or on an ongoing basis. We match volunteers' skills with the needs of our programs and participants. Possible volunteer activities include:
INDIVIDUALS
- Assisting with office chores, such, as stuffing envelopes, answering the phone, organizing and collating materials, and performing other clerical tasks
- Providing childcare at the residence for short periods
- Arts & Crafts activities
- Mentoring/tutoring residents
- Educational presentations
GROUPS
- Assisting in seasonal cleaning, painting, and gardening projects
- Assisting with seasonal decorations and holiday parties
- Group Arts & Crafts activiities
- Sponsor collection of toiletries and baby items
INTERNS
- Assisting residents using social science/social work skills
- Providing educations
- Assisting with communications
