Project: Adopt-A-Woman
Adopt a specific woman with specific tangible needs that have been identified by her case manager. This project is limited to three months for each woman and is targeted to the women and children who come to Chadwick with no resources or supports in their lives.
*Examples of support include: undergarments, clothing, shoes, purse/wallet, personal hygiene items, diapers, formula, infant/children's clothing, food items, Bibles, uplifting books & magazines, etc.
Project: Welcome Basket
Provide a welcome start-up package for women who come to Chadwick
*Includes: laundry basket/laundry detergent, feminine hygiene products, toilet paper, Kleenex tissue, toothbrush, toothpaste, dental floss, mouthwash, shampoo, conditioner, comb, brush, ethnic hair care products (hair lotion, coconut oil, shampoos, etc.)
Volunteers for Social/Skill Building Activities
*Includes arts, crafts, tutoring, mentoring, gardening, cooking & nutrition, recreational activities and any special skill you wish to share!
Donations of:
pots, pans, dishes, cutlery
kitchen and bath textiles
room decor (pictures, doilies, etc.)
jewelry boxes or small dishes to put personal items in
